LHS Library Homepage: For Faculty

Library FAQs

Can I look at the library catalog from home?

Yes, select the 'Library Catalog' tab at the top of this page. You can also access the library catalog from the LHS home page. If our library does not have a resource that you need, we can borrow from any library in the district.

How do I schedule classes or lessons?

Log into Eduphoria and select 'Facilities & Events.' From this page you can make a reservation to use the library just as you schedule time in the computer labs.

Does the library subscribe to databases?

Yes! LHS subscribes to a variety of resources. Select the 'Databases By Subject' tab at the top of this page to learn more about the databases associated with your content area. Remember I am available to instruct students and teachers on how to use these resources.

Do I need permission to show videos to my classes?

Maybe. Before showing any video that might be considered entertainment in a setting other than a school, you will need to complete a Visual Media Approval form that demonstrates the video will be shown in compliance with Fair Use Guidelines. Click on the Copyright link to obtain the form and find more information about copyright. Feel free to ask if you are unsure.

Passwords from Home

When accessing databases off campus, use the above list of passwords to gain access. Think of cheering on our team when entering the password protected page.
